In a speech to students, he praised the example of India and Pakistan, where he said partition saved many lives. Splitting Nigeria “would stop the bloodshed and burning of places of worship,” state news agency Jana quoted him as saying. A senior Nigerian diplomat said he was not taking the suggestion seriously. Hundreds of people have died in communal violence in villages around the central Nigerian city of Jos this year. The BBC’s Rana Jawad in Tripoli says Col Gaddafi’s suggestion is unsurprising given his past form. Last year, he called for Switzerland to be abolished and for its land to be divided between Italy, Germany and France. ‘Historic, radical solution’ Although the violence in Nigeria generally takes place between Muslim and Christian communities, the underlying causes are a complex mix of political, social and economic grievances. Nigeria is roughly split between its largely Muslim north, and a Christian-dominated south. Col Gaddafi, until recently head of the African Union, characterised the Jos violence as a “deep conflict of religious nature” caused by the federal state, “which was made and imposed by the British in spite of the people’s resistance to it”. He described the partition of India as a “historic, radical solution” which saved the lives of “millions of Hindus and Muslims”. Splitting India in 1947 caused a breakdown of law and order in which at least 200,000 people died. Some estimates say one million people were killed. About 12 million people were left homeless and thousands were raped. An attempt by the Igbo people of south-eastern Nigeria to secede in 1967 sparked a war which left more than one million people dead.

My brothers, this is a very complex situation. Nelson Mandela said” There is no easy walk to Freeddom” We the igbos in particular have not made up our minds in which way to go in Nigeria. For the fact that we failed once, shouldn’t leave all of us Paralyzed. We have become the wickest link in the Nigerian politics and power race. No easy walk to freedom, its about time we do what we have to do or else face the continous killing and rejection of the igbo people. It is with great tears and pain that I post any comments concerning Nigeria and the position of the Igbos. In reality, I percieve we need a miracle, oracle or revolution. Our destiny is in our own hands. Lets unite the Igbos first, find a better way to relate to one another, love ourselves, recognize our honest and good leaders, there using that as a source of reconciliation among the igbos. We can then plan ahead and well indeed. Times are changing, we will not fail again but one thing is certain, “Revolution” is the only solution to our freedom, and must be well executed.

See what you do not see! APP or “Mega Party”, or other parties that they float or would float are brands of PDP strategy to remain in power. In Anambra a party member after contesting in a platform of one party (is it APP?) which serves as an alternative or another brand of PDP failed and quickly defected to PDP. Defection are for the un-principled and an act by a harlot or betrayer living as a politician and to make us understand that the supposed tenets which is defined differences in manifestoes for effective and efficient party system of governement is lacking in a fragile state called nigeria. The North will soon leave nigeria alone, so that the desired need of the nations is achieved. Only when they start fighting themsleves will you know that God is working.They engineer other nations and peoples in nigeria to fight themselves for their own benefit: I see their making as a physical one, the one that would befall them would be a spiritual one. God would turn them against themselves if they do not heed to peoples cry for freedom.
The likes such as babangida are with his coupists proponents, 419 heads or think tanks and his regional boys (who are destablising agents against their people for a must united nigeria”) can continue to lie to the international communities and be bagging honors, I say he will suerly be vindictated mysteriously. They make room for division of States, they try to create a wall called loyalists States with servants or proponents or egoists from the possible States (especially from SS and SE regions) swearing to allegiances and to serve as possible betrayers to any call for freedom. Afraid of the prediction awaiting 2015 and its reality. babangida is afraid of the 2015 fragile state prediction and thinks himself fit to curb it, his arsenals in the making and his SS and SE regions boys in secret meetings: the main reason for babangida coming out for president again. SS and SE beware of the scattered parties and mind the real ones! SS and SE delay any new States creation calls, it is bid to scatter, Abia for example is from Imo State with some hidden actors behind its creation. A formular to scatter. tell them to develop the States we have first!
