The question is not “if” but “when”.
These MASSOB guys do not have to do anything, they just have to stand by and watch Nigeria “implode”. Really what do the have to do when the Hausas/Fulani muslims are fighting their christian kinsmen in the north. Likewise the Yorubas are not at peace with each other. MEND is doing their own thing from the Niger Delta. See article below:

I dont think it is right to group all of us from Rivers State as being anti-Biafra. You cant paint all of us with the same brush stroke. We know that some Ikwerre/Etche have problems with the Ijaws and Kalabari. There are dynamics of political and familial relationships in Rivers State that lots of people do not understand (e.g uplander & riverine). Some people still think in terms of 40 years ago. A lot has changed. What remains constant though is that the poor Rivers man is still yelling “anti Biafra” while the elite Rivers Man is educated and rich enough to have patience and take advantage of any situation presented to them.
I am Ikwerre and I have no illusions about where my loyalties lie. I can tell you that it is not against BIAFRA or MASSOB. http://www.massob.org/
Addressing the issue of people who assume that Biafra cannot do without the Niger Delta-i.e No Oil No Biafra. Think again. there are several communities outside the core Niger Delta that have oil wells. In this day and age anyway, I dont think that oil is a good thing to have in any country. See what it has done to our communities in Rivers state.
My advice to the polity is this: “If your papa give you wife wey no want marry you again, leave am make im go. After all, no be you pay dowry for im head”
If Nigeria feels that they can survive without the Biafrans and their wahala, then cut them loose. Wetin them dey fear?
